Solar-Powered Monte Rosa Alpine Hut

This is one of the things that I love to see, a Solar Powered resort. This is the Solar Powered Monte Rosa Alpine Hut located right outside of Zermatt in the Swiss Alps. The greatest thing about this is that it is 90% energy self-sufficient and it looks beautiful. Kind of like something that you would see out of a movie.

From 2,810 meters above sea level (where its located) the view is amazing. You can look in a complete 360 degrees and you will see a beautiful mountain scenery. This is a great escape for skiers, snowboarders, hikers and even people who just love the mountains. It can accommodate up to 125 guests and the solar panel design really gives this building an amazing look. You can check out the view as well as the inside below.
